The Delivery Driver ensures the prompt distribution of products and/or materials to the restaurants in a cost-effective and professional manner aimed at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures.

- About this role
Reporting to the Supervisor- Warehouse, this supporting role will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Delivery & Distribution
Safely transport products and materials to assigned restaurants and other designated locations according to delivery schedules.
Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.
Verify returned products against transfer documentation to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Vehicle Management & Safety
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or concerns promptly.
Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate scheduled servicing and maintenance with the Inventory Supervisor.
Complete Service Request Forms accurately, documenting vehicle defects to facilitate timely repairs.
Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition in accordance with company health and safety standards.
Protect company vehicles and cargo by maintaining appropriate security measures during all deliveries.
Follow all company accident reporting procedures, ensuring incidents are reported accurately and within required timelines.
- Leadership & Teamwork
Assign daily tasks and provide direction to Driver Assistants to support efficient delivery operations.
Supervise and coach Driver Assistants to ensure productivity, compliance, and safe work practices.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient product distribution across the restaurant network.
- Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate delivery records and supporting documentation.
Uphold company Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance standards at all times.
Support the overall success of the Commissary team by performing additional duties as required.

results in a fast-paced environment by managing competing priorities, solving problems quickly, and maintaining a strong customer focus.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate in Supervisory/Inventory Management or equivalent
A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in dry or cold delivery.
Proven working experience as a driver.
Valid open-general driver’s license.
Ability to operate a Forklift would be an asset.
Excellent Organization, Time Management and Communication skills.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
