Job Description

Onfon Microfinance is looking for four (4) committed and results-oriented Debt Collectors to join its team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for following up on overdue accounts and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue payments through phone calls and field visits.
• Follow up with customers and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Recover outstanding debts in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and customer interactions.
• Prepare daily and weekly collection reports.
• Work closely with the finance and credit teams.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A minimum of a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in debt collection or customer service is an added advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Honesty, discipline, and a results-driven attitude.
• Fluency in Kiswahili. Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
