To lead the operational and strategic management of the security contract focusing on client retention, staff optimization, and maintaining discipline on the mine
Job Responsibilities

• Ensure timely reconciliation of invoice.
• Ensure proper allocation of staff to positions and structure and analyse
  

staff turnover

• Ensure adequate personnel are staffed to the contract, including relief,
  

reserve and contingency personnel.

• Ensure that acceptable standards of behavior at work are maintained by
  

all subordinate employees, as required by G4S’s code of conduct and
disciplinary code.

• Maintenance of client relationships and ensuring client retention.
• Understand the importance of client communication, notification and
  

reporting procedures.

• Report on Security KPIs to Management
• Ensure that only appropriately trained and registered security personnel
  

are utilized at all times.

• Identify new business opportunities in the sphere of operations, as well
  

as in terms of growth of business, driven by the promotion of integrated
security solutions.

• Conduct Security Risk Assessments
• Daily check the presence of site instructions, CUG, Flashlight, baton, and
  

emergency contact list. Check the alertness and fitness of security officers
on duty

• Check to be sure that all equipment present is serviceable.

Experience & Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Security Management, or a related field
• A certificate in Security will be an advantage
• Strong background in surveillance, investigations and incident reporting
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage large teams
• Minimum of 3-5 years in security operations, preferably within the mining or industrial setting.
