Job Description
The Clearing and Forwarding Intern will support the logistics team in handling import and export documentation, customs clearance procedures, shipment follow-ups, cargo release, and coordination of transportation activities.
The role is suitable for candidates who are willing to learn, develop professionally, and build practical experience in clearing, forwarding, freight, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and processing import and export documentation.
- Support customs clearance and cargo release procedures.
- Follow up on shipment status with shipping lines, airlines, and clearing agents.
- Assist in coordinating deliveries and transportation of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment documents and client files.
- Liaise with relevant government authorities and stakeholders when required.
- Support compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Clearing and Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Must be a recent graduate from 2025.
- Basic understanding of customs clearance and freight forwarding procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
