CIVIL WORKS & FIBER SPLICER
Work mode: On-site · Location: Gaborone, Botswana · Schedule: Full Time.
Job Description
- Responsibilities
Supervise fibre civil works activities.
Perform fibre splicing and testing.
Conduct OTDR measurements and fault finding.
Install and terminate fibre optic cables.
Prepare daily reports and maintain as-built documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Requirements
Diploma in Telecommunications or related field.
Minimum one (1) year experience in civil works supervision and fibre splicing.
Experience with fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and fibre optic installation.
Knowledge of trenching, HDD techniques, and HDPE duct installation.
Ability to read telecom and civil construction drawings.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong communication and planning skills.
Ability to travel within Botswana.
