OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named Jamaica Extended Support Services (“JESS”) operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will focus on the creation, maintenance, and optimization of a centralized enterprise AI inventory. You will lead initiatives to discover, catalogue, and track AI systems, applications, models, and integrations across the organization, collaborating closely with business, technology, security, legal, and risk stakeholders to ensure comprehensive operational oversight and governance. Your expertise in data gathering and information management will guide efforts to maintain high data quality, identify tracking gaps, and clarify system ownership. You will develop reports, dashboards, and process documentation to provide foundational visibility into AI usage and support responsible AI enablement across the enterprise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service Delivery

Build and maintain a centralized inventory of AI systems, applications, tools, use cases, models, agents, integrations, and supporting technology components across the enterprise.

Gather, validate, and organize foundational AI system information needed to support security, governance, compliance, risk management, and operational oversight.

Coordinate with business, technology, security, privacy, legal, risk, and governance stakeholders to collect required AI system details, clarify ownership, document system purpose, and maintain accurate records.

Track key inventory attributes, including business owner, technical owner, use case description, vendor or platform, deployment environment, data classification, model usage, integration points, and lifecycle status.

Identify data gaps, incomplete records, aging items, and ownership issues; conduct follow-up with system owners and stakeholders to improve inventory completeness and data quality.

Prepare reports, dashboards, status updates, documentation, process guides, templates, and metrics that support AI inventory completeness, foundational AI visibility, and responsible AI enablement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in information security, technology risk, IT governance, data management, compliance, business analysis, or related technology functions

Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Archer, ServiceNow, or similar workflow, reporting, GRC, or inventory management platforms is preferred

Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand AI-enabled systems, software applications, cloud services, vendor platforms, data flows, integrations, and technology ownership models at a foundational level

Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to collect, structure, validate, and maintain detailed information across multiple stakeholders, systems, and workstreams

Ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous information, identify gaps, follow up with stakeholders, and drive tasks to completion with strong attention to detail and data quality

Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork

  • Strong problem-solving skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and work well within a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.

You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.

Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.

May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
