Our client, is an audit firm based in Westlands, Nairobi and they are looking for an accountant with audit experience. The ideal candidate will perform basic auditing tasks under the guidance of senior auditors. MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 60,000
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• . Sales and Purchase Invoice processing and filing.
• Payroll Processing
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
• Filing Statutory-VAT/NSSF/NHIF/PAYE/WHT/WHVAT.
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
• Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
• Frequent Reporting to Management.
• Any other duties as may be allocated from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS . Bachelors of Commerce or related studies. . ACCA / CPA Qualified or Pursuing. . Required Job Experience 3 - 4 years. . Working knowledge of the Kenyan iTax System. . Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. . Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online or Xero Accounting Software. . Good Personal Planning and Organizational Skills.
MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 70,000
