Job Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Maintain accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
Monitor and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A minimum of an HND in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent is an advantage.
Proven experience in accounting or financial management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
