Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping
• Manage month-end close and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Liaise with external auditors and support audits
• Assist with VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and statutory filings
• Improve financial processes and controls
• Ensure periodic bills and taxes are paid and filed.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end processes
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar software
• ACCA,CIMA, ICAG (qualified or in progress) is an advantage not essential, and can be substituted with experience.
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Must be ready to start immediately
• Must be a fully licensed driver with valid driver’s license.

Preferred: Lives in Spintex, Baatsona, Lashibi, Sakumono, Nungua and environs, within comfortable commuting distance of Lashibi.
