Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accurate accounting records and financial files.
• Analyze budgets and prepare detailed expense reports.
• Examine bank statements and reconcile them with general ledger entries.
• Review and verify employee expense claims.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and relevant tax regulations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure timely processing of payments and financial transactions.
• Assist in internal and external audit exercises.
• Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting/finance role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
• Good understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
• Candidates residing in Surulere and its environs will have an added advantage.
• Ability to work alternate Saturdays in a month.
