About the Role:
Digitek Outsourcing is hiring a highly skilled Insurance Account Broker to support the owner's of rapidly expanding general insurance brokerages.
These firm's service varied ranges of SME, Mid Market & Corporate Clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with all new business enquiries, ranging from SME business package opportunities to complex Liability & Industrial Special Risk (ISR) programs.
If you have experience handling more complex and technical insurance placements, your expertise will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in marketing all new business enquiries, from SME business packages to complex ISR & Liability risks.
Support the owner in obtaining competitive quotes and structuring tailored insurance solutions.
Manage administrative tasks related to new business submissions, endorsements, and policy processing.
Communicate with underwriters and insurers to ensure smooth placement of coverage.
Maintain accurate records and documentation across multiple platforms.
Utilise various software tools to manage workflow and streamline administrative processes.
Essential Requirements:
✅ Insurance Account Broking experience – Minimum of 3+ years in an administrative role within an Australian insurance brokerage. (Tier 1 Qualification Preferred)
✅ Software Proficiency: Must be highly familiar with:
· WinBEAT
- OfficeTech
· Microsoft Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· PDF Editing & Management
· Various Other Computer-Based Software & CRMs
✅ Strong Attention to Detail – Ensure accuracy in policy documentation and client records.
✅ Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to liaise professionally with brokers, clients, and insurers.
✅ Ability to Work Autonomously – Must be proactive and capable of handling tasks without constant supervision.
✅ Complex Insurance Knowledge (Highly Valued) – Experience with ISR, complex liability risks, and mid-market insurance placements is a strong advantage.
