- Our client in Tete is looking for a
- Civil Engineer
- to join their team within the
- Construction Sector
.
- Responsibilities
Design and plan construction projects, including preparing cost estimates, technical specifications, and project schedules.
Oversee and manage all phases of the construction process, from initial site preparation through final inspection and closeout.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
Review and approve construction plans and drawings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Analyze data and report findings to management and other stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required), Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction project management and design.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and transportation engineering.
Experience with engineering software tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions to engineering challenges.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and to adapt quickly to changing situations.
