Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate factory machines including:• Surface Planner• Radial Arm Saw• 5-Cutter• Double Crosscut Saw• Mortiser• Tenonner• Band Saw• Rip Saw• CNC Machine

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with established operating procedures.• Set up machines for production by selecting and installing the appropriate cutters, blades, jigs, and tooling.• Read and interpret production drawings, cutting lists, and work instructions to produce components to the required specifications.• Measure, mark, and prepare timber and other materials for machining.• Monitor machine performance during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.• Conduct routine inspections of machines before, during, and after operation to ensure they are in good working condition.

Qualifications and Experience

• National Certificate or an equivalent qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Wood Machining, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years' practical experience operating woodworking machinery in a manufacturing environment.
