Tool & Die Maker – 2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building, maintaining, modifying, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing stamping dies, progressive dies, fixtures, gauges, tools, jigs, special machines, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with metal stamping and progressive dies, along with strong machining, precision measurement, tooling assembly, and troubleshooting skills.

This position requires the ability to independently operate a variety of tool room machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stamping and progressive dies.
• Operate manual and CNC tool room machinery.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Perform precision measurements and tooling inspections.
• Fit and assemble dies and tooling components.
• Diagnose and repair tooling issues.
• Work independently and mentor Tool Maker Apprentices.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker card or equivalent experience.
• Strong metal stamping/progressive die experience.
• Manual machining and precision measurement skills.
• Blueprint/CAD reading ability.
• Experience with CNC, EDM, or high-speed milling is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
