  • Expand commercial experience through client and subcontractor negotiation, RFI management and contract cost reporting to directors.
  • Build a practical vendor network via market research and supplier engagement for faster, more reliable bids.
  • Position yourself for senior commercial or project roles by owning tender workflows, monthly progress claims and finance handovers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete tender and bidding process, from pre-qualification through tender submission and post-tender activities.
  • Review tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ, and contract requirements
  • Perform quantity take-off, material measurement, cost estimation, and pricing for electrical works.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and technical submissions
  • Analyze material, labour, subcontractor, and other project costs to develop competitive and accurate tender prices.
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents, tender proposals, technical data, catalogues, and supporting documentation.
  • Attend site visits, tender briefings, clarification meetings, technical meetings, and commercial negotiations when required.
  • Manage and respond to RFI, RFQ, and RFP submissions with clients, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and conduct price comparison and commercial analysis
  • Prepare contract cost summaries, tender analysis, and commercial reports for management review.
  • Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to improve project competitiveness.
  • Prepare post-tender documentation including kick-off reports, project cost budgets, catalogues, and progress claims for project team handover.
  • Review and manage Variation Orders (VO), additional works, and project quotations prepared by the project team.
  • Assist with monthly progress claims, cost tracking, and financial reporting for management.
  • Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain proper tender records, pricing information, and commercial documentation.
