Duties and Responsibilities An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: maintaining security and safe custody of stores; preparing stores requisitions; undertaking procurement and storage activities; preparing payment vouchers for suppliers; and distributing quotations requests; issuing and rationing of stores; and making recommendations for disposal of unserviceable stores. Requirement for Appointment For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: Diploma in Stores Management/Supply Chain Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Be a registered member of KISM will be an added advantage Certificate in computer application skills.
