Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver literacy learning for Year 3 pupils in line with the school's British Primary curriculum.
• Develop pupils' reading, writing, phonics, comprehension, spelling and communication skills through structured lessons and activities.
• Use appropriate phonics approaches, including Read Write Inc or Jolly Phonics where applicable.
• Assess pupils' progress and use learning evidence to support differentiated instruction.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages confidence, participation and a strong reading culture.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' overall academic development.

Requirements:

• A minimum of BEd/NCE in Education (English/Literacy focus)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience
