Duties and Key Responsibilities Perform emergency and elective general surgical procedures. Conduct ward rounds and manage pre-operative and post-operative care. Run surgical outpatient clinic and handle referrals from lower-level facilities. Participate in 24/7 surgical on-call rotation for emergency coverage. Oversee infection control and quality assurance in theatre. Supervise, mentor and assess interns, medical officers and theatre nursing staff. Qualifications and Experience Master of Medicine (MMed) in General Surgery or equivalent post-graduatequalification recognized by KMPDC.
