  • Settlement Analyst

The Settlement Analyst supports the cash management process. Ensuring adherence to the policies and procedures in the timely handling, processing and deposit of receipts or disbursements. Leading all day -to- day activities, reporting and monitoring of the department.

  • Major Responsibilities

Lead and oversee settlement operations across all locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of settlement and cash module issues.

Prepare and review key financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end activities, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines and internal controls.

Monitor cash management processes, including lodgements, cash receivables, account postings, shortages, and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate settlement activities with Warehouse, Delivery, Accounting & Tax, Treasury, IT, and Shared Services to resolve discrepancies and support business operations.

Maintain governance over settlement documentation, logs, POS equipment, petty cash, and asset records, conducting audits and escalating exceptions as required.

Drive continuous improvement by monitoring performance, implementing process enhancements, and providing training to strengthen settlement operations and compliance.

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in cash management, settlements, or treasury operations.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 2
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word)
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in cash management
  • Ability to communicate proficiently at all levels and maintain excellent customer relations
