Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
• Perform and review complex month-end and year-end close processes, including bank reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and journal entries.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique business operations.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA a strong plus
• Experience: 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting firm, outsourced accounting agency, or multi-client bookkeeping environment.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero).
• Familiarity with modern app integrations (e.g., Dext, Hubdoc, Bill.com, Gusto, Fathom).
• Familiar with Spreadsheets
