• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
• Teach scientific concepts, theories, and practical applications effectively.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and performance.
• Identify students' learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a conducive learning environment.
• Utilize modern teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Participate in curriculum development and review activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' progress.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and inventory of laboratory equipment and teaching resources.
• Mentor and guide students in science-related projects, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Adhere to school policies, educational standards, and child protection guidelines.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an NCE in Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven track record of teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry at the secondary school level.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Abule-Egba immediately.
