Job Summary

Mill Bakers is looking for a proactive, results-oriented, and trustworthy Salesperson with a valid BCE driving licence and proven experience driving heavy commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new markets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering Mill Bakers products to customers while ensuring proper account management and timely return of company crates.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.

• Generate new customers and grow sales within the assigned territory.

• Maintain strong and professional relationships with existing customers.

• Conduct regular market visits to identify customer needs and business opportunities.

• Promote and sell Mill Bakers products to new and existing customers.

• Drive and operate assigned heavy commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

• Monitor customer orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries.

• Ensure company crates and other assets are returned by customers as required.

• Follow up on customer accounts and ensure timely settlement of outstanding balances.

• Prepare accurate daily and periodic sales reports.

• Provide regular feedback on market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

• Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.

• Ensure proper handling and accountability of company products and assets. •

Comply with road safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid BCE driving licence is mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and commercial driving.

• Proven experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.

• Previous experience in FMCG, bakery, food distribution, or related industries is an added advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and develop new customers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.

• Good knowledge of the assigned market and routes.

• Strong integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding field-based schedule.

• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
