Job Description Salary Scale: Ksh. 41,420 x 1,470 – 42,890 x 1,520 – 44,410 x 1,710 – 46,120 x 1,920 – 48,040 x 2,000 – 50,040 x 2,290 – 52,330 x 2,350 – 54,680 x 2,550 – 57,230/= p.m. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: taking history, examining, diagnosis and treating patient’s common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health facility; guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues; referring patients and clients to appropriate facilities; assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports; organizing health management teams and convening health management committee meetings; implementing community health care activities in liaison with other health workers; sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and Promotive health; providing clinical outreach and school health services; carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skill; and collecting data and compiling clinical data. Requirements for Appointment: For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;  Higher National Diploma in Nephrology; Certificate of Registration from Clinical Officer’s Council; Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution;
