Job Description
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c). to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Letterkenny Munitions Center (LEMC). Evaluate and maintain quality control of Letterkenny Munitions Center (LEMC) maintenance operations and advise leadership on control effectiveness. Conduct final acceptance of all assets produced for assigned production lines and provide technical guidance to QA/QC specialists. Plan, schedule, and execute annual AS9100/AS9110 internal audits and surveillance inspections, including drafting audit reports and maintaining required evidentiary records. Analyze performance data and interpret technical documentation, instructions, and engineering drawings to ensure contractual requirements are met without degrading product safety. Manage comprehensive employee training, development, and professional/safety certification programs. Determine organizational training needs, manage course registration, and ensure all training is properly documented and certified for assigned personnel. Utilize government and enterprise training systems (e.g., TED, ATRRS, DAU, CAPPMIS) to manage student enrollment, track compliance, and update training records. Provide unsupervised, regular reports on training status to leadership and consult with the HQ JMC Training Office to develop long-range training plans. Administer the Command's publications and forms program, maintain control registers, and assist with the design and composition of local forms
