- is looking for a
- detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer
to join our Procurement Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, inventory control, and stores and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient acquisition, storage, and movement of company stock.
- Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Prepare purchase orders, request quotations, and maintain supplier records.
Receive, inspect, store, and issue stock while ensuring all inventory entering and leaving the warehouse is accurately recorded.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile any stock discrepancies.
Maintain organized stores and warehouse operations, ensuring proper stock control and storage.
Capture procurement and inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system and prepare procurement and inventory reports.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and support audit requirements.
- Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification and active membership with
- ZIPS
- and/or
- CIPS
.
- Minimum
- 2–3 years' proven experience
in procurement, purchasing, inventory control, and stores/warehouse management.
- Proficiency in
- ERP systems, Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite
, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
Excellent data entry, analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
