Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the broadcast signal to ensure we always remain on air.
Assist in creating playlists and packaging shows in a timely manner.
Manage and verify content before it airs to ensure it is broadcast worthy.
Upload and catalogue in-house aired TV shows on YouTube and Vimeo, and ensure content is correctly backed up on the server.
Ensure there is always adequate power and fuel for generators.
Maintain broadcast equipment and troubleshoot technical issues, including during live broadcasts.
Schedule advertisements, logs, and mentions accurately as shared by the promotions team.
Submit daily reports on tasks handled and equipment status to the General Manager.
Report any work-related or technical issues promptly to the General Manager.
Requirements
A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Previous experience with playout automation systems and broadcasting technologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues under pressure and during live broadcasts.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle live broadcast challenges.
