Qualifications & Requirements Education: Diploma or Degree in Nursing – KRN, KRCHN, KRNM, KRNMPH, or BScN. Specialization: Higher Diploma in Pediatric Nursing or related specialty Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Mandatory ACLS/PALS/EPALS (Advanced Life Support for Paediatrics) – Highly preferred Skills & Competencies: Strong management skills Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced paediatric care environment Experience Minimum five(5) years post registration nursing experience, with at least three (3) years working in a pediatric ward and two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience in a teaching or referral hospital is an added advantage.
