Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Design, prepare, and execute high-quality Mathematics lesson plans in line with the British and/or Scottish Curriculum standards.
  
• Instructional Excellence: Teach mathematical concepts, algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus using interactive methods, real-world applications, and digital learning tools.
  
• Assessment & Tracking: Prepare, administer, and grade tests, assignments, and examinations; track individual student performance and maintain up-to-date academic records.
  
• Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, safe, and productive learning environment that promotes positive behavior, active participation, and mutual respect.
  
• Differentiated Learning: Identify struggling students or high achievers and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs through targeted interventions.
  
• Exam Preparation: Coach and prepare students for national and international standardized Mathematics examinations.
  
• Parent Communication: Prepare detailed progress reports and participate in parent-teacher consultations to discuss student academic development and behavioral growth.
  
• Continuous Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, departmental workshops, and professional development sessions to keep abreast of modern pedagogical practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience.
• TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification is mandatory.
• PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education) is required.
• Sound knowledge of the British and/or Scottish Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and instructional skills.
