Job Description
Purpose of the role As a property maintenance officer, the key deliverable for this role is to ensure that the property and fixtures and fittings are maintained in good condition and functioning as per set standards while at the same time focusing on customer satisfaction through resolving customer complaints/tickets in the fastest time possible. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of assets in use to allow for comfort of the customer. Key responsibilities: Customer Experience Attending to raised customer tickets related to maintenance on a timely basis, ensuring corrective action and minimal repeat complaints. Implement building planned preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor utilities to ensure constant supply to the building and minimal downtimes. Monitor stock levels and highlight key requirements for the property. Keep track of appliances sent to the central repair workshop to ensure they are fixed and sent back to the property within the set timelines. Operational Excellence Close out HSSE issues captured in 6S reports within set timelines. Conduct and implement planned preventive maintenance as per set schedules. Conduct all general maintenance work as per the set SOPs and work instructions. Periodically inspect engineering equipment and fill the provided checklists. Receive goods and spares ordered while checking and ensuring good quality of the deliveries. Supervise works done by external contractors in your property and keep records of all job cards. Trouble shoot, diagnose engineering problems and provide a one-time solution. Conduct and maintain proper 6S standards in Engineering stores, plant rooms and BOH areas. Attend organized trainings and workshops. Cost Management Daily monitor the utility readings to ensure consumption is within set targets and prevent wastage. Fastly repair identified wastage breakdowns in any utility malfunctions. Must have skills Troubleshooting  Problem solving  Excellent communication  Attention to detail Proactive  Time management Qualifications Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Automotive or Electrical and Electronics Engineer 2 years of working experience in the hospitality industry or real estate. Skills Ability to work efficiently with minimal or no supervision. Time management Prudence-taking utmost care Proactiveness-taking initiative to complete duties before deadlines Good communication skills Resourcefulness-Finding a quick, clever and the best way to overcome difficulties encountered. Multi-skilled across engineering hard skills: refrigeration and air conditioning expertise will be an added advantage Computer skills
