Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) is hiring a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance strategy and execution at the Accra bottling plant. In this role, you will maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure maintenance excellence in support of our production and business goals. The Maintenance Manager plays a key role in driving asset performance, safety, and long-term equipment reliability, while expanding the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma practices within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for overall plant maintenance operations – execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
- Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive equipment reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Oversee maintenance planning, spare parts inventory management, vendor partnerships, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all maintenance jobs are executed per Coca-Cola engineering standards and comply with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Collaborate daily with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to quickly resolve technical or operational issues.
- Develop and implement innovative technical solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Champion a culture of safety and quality in all maintenance work, enforcing rigorous standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (professional certification in maintenance/reliability is a plus).
- 10–15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, including 6+ years in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
- Proven experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, with familiarity in using CMMS and other maintenance planning tools.
- Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment (electrical, refrigeration, compressors, etc.), as well as safety regulations and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
