Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Irrigation Engineer located in the Ahafo North Region. The Irrigation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient irrigation and water management systems tailored to meet diverse agricultural and landscaping needs. Core responsibilities include flood risk management, water resource assessment, stormwater management, and designing drainage systems. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting site evaluations, and ensuring compliance with environmental and engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Flood Risk management and Water Resource Management
- Expertise in Stormwater management and Drainage Systems
- Experience in designing and optimizing Drainage Design for efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using design and simulation tools for water flow and system modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and best practices within irrigation and water resource management
- Effective communication and project management capabilities
