International School (Pearson Edexcel) – Biology / Chemistry Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology and Chemistry.
• Prepare and conduct practical laboratory sessions safely.
• Develop lesson plans and assessment materials.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance.
• Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain laboratory records and equipment.
• Integrate ICT into science teaching.
• Participate in school and departmental activities.
• Promote safe laboratory practices.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Education.
2. Experience in IGCSE curriculum – Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel.
3. Must be TSC registered.
4. A minimum of 3 years' experience.
5. Good ICT skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils.
7. Clean child protection record.
8. Excellent curriculum and classroom management knowledge & skills.
9. Experience handling candidate classes is preferable.
