Beyond DV is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hope Hub Coordinator to join our team at the Recovery Centre in Kawana Shoppingworld. In this frontline role, you will be the first point of contact for people relating to experiences of domestic, family or sexual violence, providing immediate, trauma-informed and strengths‑based support in a safe and welcoming environment.

The HOPE Hub operates seven days a week, with service hours primarily during school hours, as well as Thursday evenings and weekends.
To support flexibility and work-life balance, this position is ideally suited to a job-share arrangement, with one team member working three days per week and the other four days per week. The successful applicant is expected to commence in early to mid-September.
What You’ll Do
As a HOPE Hub Coordinator, you will:
- Provide trauma‑informed, strengths‑based support to walk‑in clients accessing the HOPE Hub.
- Respond and triage to immediate safety, wellbeing, and practical needs with care and professionalism.
- Conduct initial intake and risk screening, guided by best practice family violence frameworks.
- Offer supportive, client‑led referrals to crisis services and/or Police where appropriate and desired by the individual.
- Assist clients to stabilise during times of crisis through information, emotional support, and practical guidance.
- Action referrals into Beyond DV Healing and Recovery services for clients who meet eligibility criteria.
- Facilitate pathways to internal Beyond DV programs and services or external support avenues. Eg Shark Cage, Guest Speakers, Money Clinics, Yoga & Self Defence, Relationships Australia (Partnership).
- Provide monthly reports to the HOPE Hubs Program Lead.
- Escalate incidents to the HOPE Hubs Program Lead and follow the Recovery Centres procedures.
- Work collaboratively with internal Beyond DV teams to ensure coordinated support.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential client documentation in line with organisational policies.

- Experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic and family violence or complex trauma
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths‑based practice
- Confidence engaging with people in crisis while maintaining calm, empathy and boundaries
- The ability to make sound judgments around risk and referrals
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to client‑led practice
