HEAD CHEF

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen. The ideal candidate must have strong cooking skills, leadership abilities and a commitment to maintaining consistent food quality and taste.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations and kitchen staff.
• Ensure food quality, taste, consistency and presentation meet company standards.
• Maintain consistency in recipes and portion sizes.
• Monitor food costs, stock usage and food wastage.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department on kitchen stock requirements.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Train and guide kitchen staff to improve performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen position.
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food costing, stock control and food hygiene.
• Able to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen.
• Responsible, disciplined and committed to maintaining food quality.
