- Duties and Responsibilities
Execute and supervise farm resource allocation and activity plans to support efficient field operations.
Monitor daily farm activities and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance productivity and ensure adherence to activity standards.
Supervise all farming activities related to cane production, ensuring operations are carried out according to approved improvement plans and required quality standards.
Conduct regular field inspections and activity assessments and submit detailed reports to management.
Maintain accurate daily records of farm operations and capture activity data into the CanePro system.
Assist management in monitoring labour requirements in line with farm operational plans.
Implement continuous improvement practices by monitoring performance and suggesting appropriate tools and techniques to achieve high-quality sugarcane production.
Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines including SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) requirements.

Diploma in Agriculture or Irrigation Technology.
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in sugar cane fields.
Experience in leading teams and resource allocation.
