CABS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its Exchange Control team as Team Leader - Exports. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading export processing activities, ensuring compliance with Exchange Control regulations, managing operational risks, and providing guidance to staff while delivering efficient service to internal and external stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesAuthorising export forms and export-related transactions in line with regulatory requirements.Reviewing export returns and applications submitted to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Monitoring export acquittals, conditional approvals, and customer queries to ensure timely resolution and regulatory compliance.Preparing departmental reports and maintaining accurate records and documentation.Designing, reviewing, and implementing operational procedures, controls, and service level agreements.Coordinating risk management activities, audits, and regulatory inspections while ensuring implementation of corrective actions.Leading, coaching, and developing team members to achieve departmental objectives.Delivering training and knowledge-sharing initiatives on Exchange Control regulations and export procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Professional qualifications in Banking, Finance, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.At least two years' experience in an Exchange Control or International Banking environment.Skills and CompetenciesSound knowledge of foreign exchange and export transactions.Strong understanding of Exchange Control regulations and processes.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.Good analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
