- OVERVIEW
Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust (AYCT) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Coach under the Pathway Centre Programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering entrepreneurship, financial capability, enterprise development, and career readiness programmes to young women. The role focuses on developing entrepreneurial mindsets, financial confidence, problem-solving skills, and workplace readiness to support participants in transitioning into employment, entrepreneurship, further education, or vocational training.
The Coach will work closely with other coaches and the Pathway Centre Coordinator to provide group learning sessions, individual coaching, and mentorship support.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development
Facilitate practical learning sessions on entrepreneurship, enterprise development, innovation, business idea generation, business planning, marketing, customer service, and business operations.
Support participants in identifying viable business opportunities and developing sustainable business models.
Guide participants in preparing business plans, enterprise action plans, business pitches, and entrepreneurship tools.
Promote creativity, innovation, opportunity identification, and entrepreneurial thinking through practical learning approaches.
Provide coaching and mentorship to participants on business and financial matters.
- Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should possess:
Diploma in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience delivering entrepreneurship training, enterprise development, financial literacy, business advisory services, or livelihood programmes.
Practical experience in entrepreneurship, business development, financial management, or supporting small and growing enterprises will be an added advantage.
Experience working with youth, women, or community development programmes.
Experience providing coaching, mentoring, or business advisory support to individuals or groups.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chichewa.
