FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT2.1 STUDENT TRAINING WORKSHOP2.1.1 Engineering Instructors (5 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibility• The successful candidate would be responsible for: teaching, demonstrating and evaluating undergraduate engineering students in the Fabrication Workshop/ Mechanical Engineering Workshops.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience• The successful candidate must, at least possess:• A minimum of an appropriate/relevant degree or having served on Apprenticeship training as Boiler maker/Welder with a Skilled Worker Class 1, Journeyman Certificate or a Higher National Diploma or a City and Guilds. Advanced City and Guilds Full Technology Certificate.• A post professional teaching experience and qualificatione.g Further Education Teachers Certificate/Diploma(FETC/D) would be an added advantage/prerequisite.• A minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in the relevant field in as a Boiler-maker and or Welder/ Electrician/Machine Shop/Mechanical Engineering.
