Job Description
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can do more than routine electrical maintenance — strong practical experience in industrial automation and PLC troubleshooting is a key requirement.
Key Focus Areas
Electrical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting across plant equipment
PLC, automation and control-system fault-finding
Maintenance of motors, drives, sensors, panels and production equipment
Preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
Supporting equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning
Minimising downtime and improving plant efficiency
Maintaining compliance with safety, GMP and food manufacturing standards
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
Minimum 5 years electrical maintenance experience in a beverage or manufacturing environment
Strong hands-on experience with PLCs and industrial automation
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control-system faults independently
Experience working with automated production or packaging equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with SCADA, CMMS or manufacturing systems is an advantage
