DRILLING/TAPPPING OPERATOR (SHEET METAL)

Job Description

• Perform drilling and tapping work on sheet metal and metal components.
• Operate drilling machines, grinders, hand tools, and other workshop equipment.
• Measure and check parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform basic sheet metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly.
• Ensure work meets required quality and dimensions.
• Maintain tools and work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow company safety and production procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in sheet metal, metal fabrication, fitting, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in drilling and tapping.
• Able to use basic measuring tools such as vernier caliper.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and measurements.
• Good hands-on skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Added Advantage:

• Able to grind the bits to achieve the correct dimensions and fit.
• Experience with welding or other metalworking processes.
• Experience with precision fitting and finishing.
