Experience:

• Minimum Of Three (3) Years Experience In Dispatch, Logistics, Or Warehouse Operations Within A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Food Manufacturing Industry.
  
• Experience Supervising Dispatch Teams And Coordinating Transport Operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma Or Bachelors Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
  
• Strong Understanding Of Logistics, Warehousing, And Distribution Operations.
  
• Knowledge Of Inventory Management Principles And Dispatch Documentation.
  
• Familiarity With Erp Or Warehouse Management Systems Is An Added Advantage.
  
• Good Planning, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills.
  
• Strong Leadership And Team Supervision Abilities.
  
• Ability To Work Under Pressure And Meet Tight Delivery Deadlines.

Duties:

• Plan, Schedule, And Supervise Daily Dispatch Activities To Ensure On-Time Customer Deliveries.
  
• Coordinate Vehicle Loading, Routing, And Dispatch Schedules To Maximize Fleet And Transport Efficiency.
  
• Ensure All Dispatch Documentation, Including Delivery Notes, Invoices, And Transport Records, Is Complete And Accurate.
  
• Monitor Stock Movement Between The Warehouse And Dispatch Area, Ensuring Inventory Accuracy.
  
• Liaise With Production, Warehouse, Sales, And Customer Service Teams To Prioritize Orders And Meet Delivery Deadlines.
  
• Supervise Dispatch Personnel And Drivers, Ensuring Adherence To Company Policies And Safe Working Practices.
  
• Monitor Vehicle Utilization, Turnaround Times, And Transport Costs, Recommending Continuous Improvements.
  
• Ensure Compliance With Food Safety Standards, Gmp, Haccp, And Health And Safety Regulations During Dispatch Operations.
  
• Investigate Delivery Discrepancies, Customer Complaints, And Transport Issues, Implementing Corrective Actions Where Necessary.
  
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, And Monthly Dispatch And Logistics Performance Reports.
  
• Maintain High Housekeeping Standards Within The Dispatch Area And Ensure Equipment Is Properly Maintained.
  
• Support Periodic Stock Counts And Inventory Reconciliation Activities.
