Credit Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assessing loan applications
• Evaluating customers' creditworthiness
• providing sound recommendations to support quality lending decisions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2–4 years' relevant experience in credit analysis or lending within a microfinance bank, commercial bank, or other financial institution.
• Sound knowledge of credit appraisal, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
• Good understanding of microfinance banking operations and CBN regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and assess customers' repayment capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to details.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make objective credit decisions.
