Job Description
Key Responsibilities Conduct eye examinations and vision assessments. Diagnose and manage common eye conditions within scope of practice. Prescribe corrective lenses where authorized. Identify and refer patients requiring specialist eye care. Educate patients on eye health and preventive care. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Ensure proper use and maintenance of optometry equipment. Participate in eye screening and outreach activities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Comply with hospital policies, professional standards, and infection prevention procedures Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with relevant training/specialization in Optometry/Ophthalmology from a recognized institution. Valid registration and practicing license with the relevant professional regulatory body. More than 3 years experience in an eye clinic or hospital setting Good communication, interpersonal, clinical assessment and patient-care skills
