Do you have a Master’sdegree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related field?

Do you have a Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Climate justice, Economic justice, Livelihoods, Environmental governance, and Partner-led programme implementation?

Do you have a proven experience in multi-country or regional systems, partner coordination, programme quality, and technical advisory roles?

Duties and Responsibilities

The Role:

Oxfam is looking for Climate and Economic Justice Technical and Partnership Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support to Climate & Economic Justice Programming (25%)The role provides hands-on technical leadership to partners and programme teams, ensuring that climate and economic justice interventions are strategically designed, technically sound, and effectively delivered.

Provide technical support across Climate adaptation, Resilience, Livelihoods, Environmental governance, Economic justice and Inequality reductionSupport application of systems-thinking approaches that address structural drivers of vulnerability and exclusion.Strengthen technical quality across programme design, implementation, and adaptive management.Support integration of climate and economic justice principles across broader thematic portfolios.Partner Engagement, Relationship Management & Localisation (20%)As the principal operational interface with partners, the role ensures strong partnerships, technical accompaniment, and locally led programme delivery.

Maintain strong, strategic relationships with partner organisations and local actors.Support partners in programme design, delivery, problem-solving, adaptive management, and strategic positioningFacilitate communication between partners, country teams, and regional structures.Strengthen partner capacity in technical implementation, evidence generation, and compliance.Restricted Project Delivery, Coordination & Technical Implementation (15%)The role contributes directly to the successful implementation of restricted projects and strategic programme portfolios.

Support implementation of technical project activities, workplans, and deliverables.Ensure project activities align with donor commitments, technical standards, strategic objectives, and partner realitiesStrengthen project coordination across countries, teams, and stakeholders.Track progress against objectives and support adaptive management.

Evidence Generation, MEAL Integration, Research & Learning (15%)The role strengthens integration between programme implementation, MEAL systems, and strategic learning.

Support integration of robust MEAL systems into programme implementation.Contribute to research agendas, learning frameworks, outcome documentation, and technical analysis

Donor Reporting, Compliance & Accountability Support (10%)The role strengthens donor confidence through strong technical reporting and compliance systems.

Contribute to donor reporting processes by ensuring technical results are clearly articulated, evidence-based, and strategically positioned.Support compliance with donor standards, contractual obligations, and internal systems.Strengthen technical reporting quality across restricted portfolios.Ensure programme outputs and outcomes are accurately documented.

Integration with Influencing, Policy & Advocacy (10%)The role ensures programme implementation informs regional influencing and strategic advocacy.

Synthesize technical evidence and field insights into policy-relevant analysis.Support translation of programme findings into advocacy messaging, policy recommendations, and regional positioningStrengthen integration between programme delivery and influencing systems.Support thematic leadership in external policy spaces where appropriate.

Internal Coordination, Technical Knowledge Sharing & Cross-Cluster Integration (5%)The role supports broader organisational coherence and technical integration.

Share technical insights, innovation, and learning across countries and thematic teams.Strengthen internal coordination on climate and economic justice priorities.Support consistency in programme methodologies and standards.Build technical capacity within wider Oxfam teams where relevant.What we are looking for:

Qualifications and Experience

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

Essential

Master’sdegree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related field.Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Climate justice, Economic justice, Livelihoods, Environmental governance, and Partner-led programme implementationProven experience in multi-country or regional systems, partner coordination, programme quality, and technical advisory rolesStrong technical expertise and ability to integrate programme design with influencing and policy work.Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to build strong, credible relationships with internal and external individuals and organisationsExcellent personal communication skills, in written and verbal English, with strong influencing and persuasive skillsA high level of self-awareness, personal energy, stamina and flexibility.Proven experience as a team worker and demonstrably cooperative with members of other teamsCommitment to Oxfam’s safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible.CORE DIMENSIONS
