MECHANICAL WORKSHOP2.2.1 Chief Technician (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and ResponsibilityThe successful candidate would be responsible for: teaching, demonstrating and evaluating undergraduate engineering students in the Fabrication Workshop/ Mechanical Engineering Workshops.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful candidate must, at least possess:A minimum of an appropriate/relevant degree or having served on Apprenticeship training in Mechanical Engineering with a Skilled Worker Class 1, Journeyman Certificate or a Higher National Diploma or a City and Guilds. Advanced City and Guilds Full Technology Certificate.A post professional teaching experience and qualificatione.g Further Education Teachers Certificate/Diploma(FETC/D) would be an added advantage/prerequisite.A minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in the relevant field in Mechanical Engineering.
