DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICENGINEERING3.2.1Chief Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate would be responsible for:• Supervision within the Laboratory.• Setting up practicals for students.• Maintain inventory and laboratory equipment.• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful candidate must atleast have:• A Higher National Diploma (HND)/National Diploma (ND) in Electrical Power/Communication/Electronics Engineering or equivalent, from a reputable institution recognized by the University of Zimbabwe.• Higher qualifications are an added advantage.• Five (5) ordinary levels including English, Mathematics and a Science subject.• Dynamic attitude and have excellent communication skills.• A clean Class Four (4) driver's license.• A minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Technician in relevant a environment.
