• About this Position

We’re looking for a Freelance Android Engineer (Project Based) to support the development of internal Android applications used by our operations teams. In this role, you’ll focus on building features, fixing bugs, and implementing UI using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You’ll contribute to clean, maintainable codebases, learn modern Android practices, and grow your technical skills under the guidance of senior engineers at Astro.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android features for
• internal operational applications

based on product and design requirements.

• Perform
• bug fixing and minor enhancements

with guidance from senior engineers.

• Write
• clean, maintainable Kotlin

code following established Android best practices.

• Build user interfaces using
• Jetpack Compose

and implement designs from Figma.

• Collaborate with
• Product, Design, Backend, and QA

teams during feature development.

• Write
• basic Unit Tests and UI Tests

for assigned tasks when required.

• Participate in
• code reviews
