Packer Technician

To achieve the desired productivity figures at the right quality, while minimizing the amount of waste, on a shift basis, in SMD. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machines, supporting continuous, safe, and efficient production.

• Provide technical support to ensure uninterrupted operation of production machines to meet quantity and quality targets.

• Take part in the maintenance of all machines according to the maintenance plan.

• Monitor and control waste, working to reduce the amount of production loss.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of machines and processes.

• Ensure safety and hygiene in the assigned area and for the machines under responsibility.

• Comply with occupational safety, health, and environmental rules.

• Accurately and timely complete all required reports and checklists as per procedures.

• Complete assigned tasks in IWS workflows (Centerline, Clean & Inspect & Lubricate, Defect Handling, Incident Elimination, Changeover, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Change Management, DDS, Shiftly DDS) within the shift.

• Technical high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar manufacturing role.

• Knowledge of production machines and auxiliary equipment.

• Ability to use mechanical parts and measuring equipment.

• Ability to follow established procedures and documentation.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding of safety, hygiene, and environmental rules.

• Follow the BAT EH&S Policy.

• Commit to EH&S reporting requirements.

• Actively participate in EH&S mindset improvement and initiatives.
