About the Position: Wood Worker (Blocker & Bracer/Packer) WG-4604-08 for Joint Munitions Command located at Tooele Army Depot, Depot Operations, Tooele, Utah. Design, plan, build, and construct custom shipping, supply, and storage containers. Use construction plans and rough sketches to construct odd-shaped items used for shipping hazardous materials and explosives. Block, brace, and secure ammunition items for shipment. Select appropriate methods of packing and material to be used. Block, brace, cushion, insert desiccant, and secures containers. Use arithmetic formulas to compute bracing materials. Load and unload cargo; segregate items according to condition code, lot number, and quantity; and store, stack, and palletize items. Operate an electric, diesel, or gasoline-powered fork lift capable of lifting up to 10,000 pounds to transport and stack high explosives.
