Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities to include counseling employees, recommending and selecting candidates for vacancies, promotions, reassignments and details, inconsideration of skills, qualifications, mission requirements. Develops, modifies and/or interprets performance standards. Appraises performance, recommend awards, hears and resolves employee complaints and refers serious unresolved complaints to higher-level management. Approves leave.
